October 11th 2009


My beautiful orchid is flowering again for the third time. It is now in it's second year - I've never been able to keep one this long before!!

    I too am having wonderful luck with an orchid I bought for my daughter's birthday at the beginning of May, it flowered, then flowered again, then I found another lot of buds...and then saw one more bud in the last few days. Usually they finish flowering for me and I throw them out under the palm trees and never see them flower again...
    I love having an orchid as an indoor plant...

    I noticed at the farmers' market the orchids are absolutely amazing. My youngest daughter's name means Love Orchid.

    It looks so pretty. I never had an orchid, but now, I might be enticed.
