I discovered this poor old tree on one of my walks over Broomhill. Apparently it's been clinging on to life like this for a long time. My husband says he remembers playing in amongst the roots when he was a boy and that must be at least 50 years ago!!
The roots look fabelous, I love old trees, imagine if it could talk, the tales it could tell.
